The digital arrest call
A courier call, then a "police officer" on video, then hours you are not allowed to leave. Isolation is the weapon, and hanging up disarms it.
It opens with a courier company: a parcel in your name contains something illegal. The call transfers to what sounds like a cyber cell, and the second caller already knows your name and part of your address.
Then a video call, a uniform, a government emblem on the wall behind them. You are told you are under "digital arrest" and must not leave the call or contact anyone.
Isolation is the mechanism. Hours on a call, told that speaking to family makes you an accomplice. Nobody gets to interrupt the story.
